Hi Everyone from Tel Avib, Israel

I am so excited today 12 ocr to be going on a tour of Jerusalem and Bethlehem.
I am going with a small group by bus to Jerusalem which is approx 1 hour from Tel Aviv for a 3 1/2 hour walking tour.
We covered the old town both the Jewish and Christian Quarters visting many historical places the Wailling Wall and the different sections where the various events occured before during and after the crucification of Jesus.
After lunch we then got back on the bus to head to Bethlehem which is only 15/20mins away from Jerusalem.
This was such a city of conteadictions. When we arrived the first thing you see is a huge wall which surrounds the city. So our tour guide dropped us at the security gate where our passports were checked and we followed a path that was enclosed by a fence to across the border where we were met by our Palestinian guide. We then toured the Nativity Church where Jesus was born..
The experience just makes one realise how lucky we are to be able to travel in the USA from one city to another no matter what our religion is. There the Palestinians' the people that lived in Bethlehem, have to have legal papers to come and go, if they are granted that priveledge.
Oh by the way I received 4 marriage proposals one I was offered 1000 camels another 100 camels! Guess which one I accepted?
Be safe Gayle
